As per recent census published by Government of India on their official website, there are 38,76,395 regular employees working under various ministries of Central Government as details given below

The ministry of Railways employed 15,12,530 (is about 40%) of total regular Central Government Employees in Group "C" and Group "D" cadre. Comparing all othern ministries, Indian Railways accomodating more number of wemen employees in varous departments, especially in non-technical cadre.

Indian Railways enguaged Railway Recuitment Boards to recruit employees in Group "C" and Group "D" cadre. RRBs started conducting Online Exams to quicken the selection procedure in recruitment. Hence, candidates should have minimum knowledge about computers and good practice to attend the Online Exams successfully.
